Raven Herrera is a painter, illustrator, designer and teacher based out of Hampton Roads, Virginia. She received her BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University where she graduated with summa cum laude specializing in editorial and children’s illustration. She has attended the notable Illustration Academy at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida and was a VCU representative to Icograda Design Conference in Doha, Quatar. She has been a freelance and salaried designer for marketing firms, producing full branding tactic kits for companies such as Supervalu, Farm Fresh, Cub and IvieMarketing, and CHKD. Her current work is digital science fiction illustration. She has been featured in 7Cities 1Book Suffolk Art League Show, Open Window Tidewater Artist Association 2015 show, and Society of Illustrators Student Exhibition for both New York and Los Angeles.
